Right Move was a record shop in Southend-on-Sea, which opened in 1984 and closed in 1990. Owned by Derek Robinson, the shop was located on South Church Street, and then the High Street in Southend. The shop specialised in reggae, hip hop, early dance, house, acid house and jazz, as well as selling pop and rock records. After Right Move’s closure, Robinson went on to start a wholesale business called Carib Soul Records, which is still running today.
