Selectadisc was an independent record shop in Nottingham, with a particular reputation for stocking quality Northern Soul and later House music. The shop started life as a market stall in 1966, before setting up on Arkwright Street in Nottingham and eventually moving to the city centre. Further Selectadisc stores opened in Leicester, Loughborough and London, before the shop’s eventual demise in 2010.
