Established in 1980, Summit Records is one of the few Birmingham specialist stores still open in 2025. The store was originally located in the Bull Ring, before moving to Stephenson Street and then Dudley Road, where it is still operating. Run by the legendary Winston Gordon, Summit specialises in reggae and soul, with Winston also operating a distribution business.
